Pounce Pattern Installation/Double sided tapeMeasure the area to determine the exact placement of your sign letters. Make sure the area is clean and free of dust by wiping the surface with a clean, dry cloth. Always double check the pattern for accuracy before starting. Double check that all sign letters were delivered.
Tape one edge of the pounce pattern to the installation surface with masking tape and unroll it. Level the pattern and tape the other edge to the installation surface. Securely tape the corners and sides to prevent movement.
Transfer the pattern: Choose a chalk color (blue or white) that best contrasts the color of the mounting surface. Gently begin to tap the chalk bag over the holes in the pattern. The harder the tapping, the more visible the outline will be.
Partially peel back the pattern from one corner to determine if the chalk outline is visible enough. If the outline is not visible enough, gently reposition the pattern and re-tap a little harder with the chalk bag.
Remove any backing from the adhesive or tape on each sign letter or logo element, and gently place them on the mounting surface within the chalk outline. Making sure each sign letter is properly aligned, apply pressure to ensure a secure bond.

Drill 1/4" holes 3 inches deep where indicated on your template. Remove the template and clean out all drill holes. (a puff of air through a straw, a turkey baster, or the vents on your drill all work well). Remove the paper pattern from the wall.
Insert the studs into the stud holes on the back of each sign letter. Place letters in holes on wall before applying silicone to verify positioning. If you are using spacers to stand-off your sign letters from the wall, screw them on the studs on the backs of each sign letter.
Fill the drilled holes in the wall for the first sign letter with silicone. Push the tube of silicone over each stud on the first sign letter to evenly coat it with the adhesive. Push the sign letter into the drilled holes. Repeat steps 5-7 for each sign letter.
Tape installed sign letters to wall overnight to ensure a strong bond.
