A Bold First Impression

Debellis and Ferrara is a leading marketing and branding agency in Washington DC. Obviously, the image they needed to portray in the lobby, was critical to making a great first impression on new clients – especially for a branding agency! They relied on Impact Signs to help execute their vision for a lobby sign, that reflected their logo and image in a professional, solid, and established way.

Working with an Existing Style

While the lobby style was modern, Debellis  & Ferrara did not want the sign to become ‘lost’ among the greys and whites. Also, they did not want the sign to look out of place or not in line with their office or brand look. Using color was not an option – so how to make it stand out from the surroundings? We used a background panel of brushed aluminum, with light-catching polished and painted black aluminum letters floating off the panel to help the signage stand out to the eye. The sign was installed in their office with stainless steel stand-offs which are suitable for use on a variety of office wall materials including: drywall, stone, masonry, wood, paneling, etc.
