Conference Room Dedication Plaque for Amphenol Aerospace

Many who visit Amphenol Aerospace’s updated manufacturing facility in Sydney, New York are bound to be greeted with this conference room dedication plaque honoring Rick Aiken, namesake of The Rick Aiken Conference Room. We are honored to have made that possible.

The etched stainless steel plaque we created for Amphenol Aerospace features a full color photo of Mr. Aiken. He served the company for 42 years, including as general manager from 2000 to 2014. During this time he “touched thousands of lives with his enthusiasm and passion for all things Amphenol.”

We used a stainless steel finish to elegantly contrast with contemporary etching, perfect for telling a story with intricate copy. Next, we utilized an etched color photo that brings Mr. Aiken to life, highlighting a warm smile that brought calm to his team during the floods of 2005 and 2011.

Mr. Aiken also was remembered for leading the company through a major increase in business, and the new facility was the “final achievement of his incredible career.” Their new facility spans 307,000 feet in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains and holds around 1,000 employees.
